Install Unfair Advantage
01. Click one of the above links and choose "Save As ..." to save the download file
to the Windows Desktop.
02. When done saving, execute the downloaded file.
(Note: If you chose the .ZIP extension and you need help with extracting the
content, click here and search for the "How to extract a .Zip file?")
03. Follow the on-screen directions to install the software.
04. Download from the CSI servers.
(To update the database double click Launch UA | select "Database" from the
tool bar | and click "Update Database". You could also click the "Download
Data" button along the top.)
After the first data distribution the ordered history will be unlocked in the
software, and ready to use.

03. Follow the on-screen directions to install the software.
04. Download from the CSI servers.

tool bar | and click "Update Database". You could also click the "Download
Data" button along the top.)

Reinstall Unfair Advantage
01. Write down your User ID and User Number.
(Note: If you cannot find your User ID or User Number, click here
and search for the "How do I find my User ID?"
02. Also backup your PORTFILE.ADM file which is found in your \ua\Archives
directory, and paste it into a different location such as your desktop, or
thumb drive for transfer to the file to a new PC.
(This step is only important for custom made portfolios. If you downloaded
a vendor portfolio you can skip this step.)
03. Uninstall your previous version.
Make sure to delete also the folder \ua (default location) from your local drive.
(Note: This step is very important for a reinstallation of the software.)
04. When done saving, execute the downloaded file.
(Note: If you chose the .ZIP extension and you need help with extracting
the content, click here and search for the "How to extract a .Zip file?")
05. Follow the on-screen directions to install the software.
06. Execute Unfair Advantage.
Type in your permanent User ID and User Number and download
to unlock Unfair Advantage.
07. Close Unfair Advantage.
Copy your saved PORTFILE.ADM file into your \UA\Archives directory.
08. Rewrite the Files.
(Click "Launch UA" on your desktop, navigate to "PORTFOLIO" along the top,
click "Select All", navigate again to "Portfolio and select "Rewrite File
Immediately".
(Note: If you cannot find your User ID or User Number, click here
and search for the "How do I find my User ID?"

- Keep the default setting "Anyone who uses this computer" and click the

- Check the default UA folder and click the "Next" button. Check and change
it only if its not the right folder location. [Screen Shot 5]
Note:
